何剑鲜明的视觉风格让人想起山西永乐宫墙壁上古老的壁画。在这个系列中，何剑把他的注意力从人物形象转移到代表中国当代生活的日常物品上。在1958年创立的“海鸥”是中国第一个相机品牌，画中的DF系列在1964年首次上市。在今日中国的眼中，海鸥相机是那个年代的代名词之一。何剑用中国古典壁画的表现手法来描绘当代历史，他画中两段截然不同但又连贯的历史向当代中国传递着信息。
A word from The Artist
长期以来我一直在寻求中国传统绘画的工具材料和表现内容的边界问题及其在当代的语境中的可能性.试图表现当代人遭遇到的前所未有的文化上的混杂感受.同时迷恋于由类似壁画的斑驳肌理和从图像中抽离出的线条所构成的语言体系之中，并以此做为媒介将个人情感融入到现实主义的图像之中.

Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity numbered and signed by the artist.
Dimensions are for the size of the paper on which the image is printed - not the image itself. All prints have a white border to allow for framing.
